
With more than 30 years of experience in education, Tammy Macy has dedicated her career to supporting students, educators, and school communities through leadership, innovation, and a passion for lifelong learning. Throughout her career, she has served in a variety of impactful roles including classroom teacher, Curriculum Specialist, Principal, and Program Director, bringing a well-rounded perspective to instructional leadership and school improvement.
Tammy is especially passionate about educator development, literacy, and building strong collaborative cultures within schools. Her expertise and commitment to early childhood and instructional excellence have led her to present twice at the annual conference for National Association for the Education of Young Children, where she shared best practices and innovative strategies with educators from across the nation.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Tammy values family above all else. She has been married for 26 years and is the proud mother of three sons and grandmother to four grandchildren. In her free time, she enjoys reading, cheering on the Seattle Seahawks, and spending quality time with family and friends.
